What's my interior design style?

Ten quick picks (rooms, palettes, materials, the sofa you'd actually sit on) and you'll get your style, a runner-up, a palette in real paint colors and the pieces that define the look.

Question 1 of 10

Which room would you walk into first?

How the quiz works

Each answer adds points to a few of 50 interior styles. Your strongest match wins, and the second-highest is your runner-up, which is often the style to borrow from. Most homes mix two: a modern base with farmhouse warmth, or Scandinavian calm with Japanese restraint.

After the quiz

Use your result as a filter. When you're choosing between two sofas or two paint colors, ask which one belongs in your style. Then build the palette with the room palette generator or browse design ideas by style and room.

Questions

How many interior design styles are there?

There's no fixed number. The quiz scores 50 common styles, from modern and Scandinavian to Japandi, mid-century modern, farmhouse, coastal and art deco.

What if I like two styles?

That's normal. Your runner-up is shown with your result. Pick one as the base (big pieces, walls) and borrow accents from the other.

Are the paint colors real?

Yes. Each style's palette is matched to the closest real paint color from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore or Behr. Screen colors are approximate, so check physical samples.

Do I need to sign up?

No. The quiz and your result are free. A free account is only needed to render your own room in your style with AI.
